Remain Faithful for God is With You

This is one of my old posts from my first blog, so it’s not completely up to date. Nor does it have great grammar because I was younger when I wrote it. I hope you enjoy!

Your blogger,
Summer ♥️

Sometimes you just can’t stand it anymore. You just want to grab them, shake them, and not stop. You just want to scream and call them every mean name you can think of. Insult them anyway possible.

Does any of this sound familiar? Can you relate to these feelings?

Well, guess what? Your not the only one. Everybody goes through these thoughts at some point.

Maybe not these exact thoughts, but somewhere close to these. It’s anger. It’s a humans natural instinct to act irrationally when we’re mad. That’s when God comes into place.

Here’s another scenario.

A family member is sick, maybe cancer, a disease, or maybe got into a bad accident. They get placed in the hospital. You’re mad, because you really care about that person, your anger just builds Up,Up,Up, and Up.

You think, “If God loves me soo much than why would he do this to the ones I love?” Then they die. You yell at God, you give up all hope. You lose all that faith, the faith that you spent years building. Trust. Love. Devotion.
Everything gone. Just gone.

You go and do whatever you want, you give up on being a good person, you steal, and you kill. Maybe not physically kill someone, but maybe their spirit, their hope, or their joy. You don’t watch your words, nor do you watch your actions. This is the only way you feel free. The only way that you feel the anger leave your body, or so you think.

It’s like a leak in a tub. Most of the water(anger) drains out but a little stays behind, it soaks into the flooring and starts to mold. That flooring will never be the same again. It’s rotted. Molded. No good. Unfixable. The flooring is like your heart. Damaged.

The only way to fix that molded flooring is to tear it out and replace it with new. That’s where God comes in. He’s our handyman. Our heart’s repairer.

Think of it like this. Everything that God is putting you through may just all be a test of your loyalty and devotion to him.
Read the book of Job with me. Grab your bible and open it up to Job 1:10, or just read it with me.

Bible: 10) Satan said,“Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.”

Summer: Saying, “Have you not blessed him and given him all that he has?”

Bible: Then he continued to say.
11) “But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.”

Summer: Saying, “But take away your protection and allow me to do as I please with all that he has, and he will curse and blame you.”

Bible: Then the Lord replied.
12) “And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.”

Summer: God basically said to Satan that he can do as he pleases to everything that belonged to Job, as long as Satan did not kill Job. Satan did much to Job, took his family, his livestock were stolen by the Sabeans, the servants that were watching over the livestock were slain. A large fire came and took all his sheep and shepherds with it, as well. As his children were drinking wine with the eldest brother, a powerful wind came and blew all four corners of the house down. They all died. Now all his children were dead, all his livestock gone, all his servants and shepherds as well, he still continued to serve and praise God in the midst of it all.

Now we’re on Job 2:3

Bible:
Then again Satan came unto the Lord. 3) The Lord said unto Satan,” Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause.”
4) “And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life.
5) But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face.
6) And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.
7) So went Satan forth from the presence of the LORD, and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot unto his crown.

Summer: So obviously Satan was relentless. He would not give up, he still thought that eventually Job would end up getting mad at God and curse him. So God gave Satan permission to infect Job with these sores and boils, but only as long as he doesn’t kill Job.
From Jobs head to his feet, he was infected.

Bible:
9) Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die.
10) But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this did not Job sin with his lips.

Summer: Even Jobs wife told him to blame God. To curse him and die. His friends told him that it was his fault that all of this was happening to him, that he was being punished by God for being a sinner. Even when his friends blamed him and his wife gave up on her own faith, he still continued to praise and worship God.

Because Job’s integrity and loyalty remained strong to God, when Satan finally gave up, God rewarded Job for his faithfulness. Job gained at least double of all he had before. He once again became the most wealthy man of his time, and never gave up on his faith, nor did he give up on God.

So that’s why I’m here today is to tell you that all that has or is still currently happening to you, may just be a test. So stay strong and hold fast to God for he will surely help you through it.

Remember: God will always be in your favor, and he will NEVER stop loving you.

I hope you enjoyed, and that you learned something from this. Comment if you think this was meant for you, or if I could have changed something in my message. Be sure to read the book of Job. It’s a great story with a great meaning, and it plays out many emotions. You may smile and you may cry while reading this book. Make sure to follow my blog, so you will be notified each time I post. God bless!
